Our amazing friend and supporter Cllr. Liam Brazil, is yet again holding a Mental Health and Suicide Awareness 50K Charity Cycle in Waterford on Easter Sunday, 1st April for Suicide or Survive. This is the fourth year of this event, which is a fantastic community initiative which helps raise awareness for suicide prevention and vital funds for Suicide or Survive to help us continue delivering our innovative, life-changing programmes throughout Ireland. For more information on our programmes see www.suicideorsurvive.ie/ or call the office on 1890 577 577.
To date the phenomenal amount of €25,080 has been raised by the Waterford community for Suicide or Survive, and we have had the privilege of delivering Wellness Workshops, Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) programme and Supporters Programme to the people of Waterford. It is such a privilege for all of us in Suicide or Survive to be working together in this dedicated movement for change.
We are really looking forward to this extraordinary event that brings about community spirit, wholeheartedness, compassion, commitment and dedication, and are proud to have you beside us on this journey.
