When Ethan Fanneran was just two years old he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease called Mucopolysaccharidosis Type VI, known as MPS. The Routes The Estuary Challenge, which will take place for the seventh time on Saturday 9th June 2018, has a choice of two cycles. The longer route is a 100km cycle in West Clare which brings riders from Shannon Gaels GAA pitch in Labasheeda westwards to Carrigaholt before returning to Shannon Gaels GAA Pitch along the Shannon Estuary, passing through Knock, Killimer, Cappa, Kilrush, Carrigaholt, Kilkee, Doonbeg, Cree, and Kilmurry McMahon.
